통관이 완료되었다고 알림이 갔는지 당일 GREQ 옹에게 쪽지가 왔습니다.

According to one tracking website, the CD777 is in S.Korea and has already cleared customs.

I hope you're doing well, I read on your blog that you heard the Yamaha YH-5000SE! very exciting stuff.

In the weeks since you left, I got an Ultrasone HFI-2000 which was quite interesting - I think better than most modern high-end Ultrasone. It has gold drivers like the HFI-700.
It was very dark sounding, like floor-standing speakers in a medium/small room and quite far away. Interesting presentation.

- Maybe really good for people who are sensitive to sharp treble pain.

Also I got an AKG K501 - I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected. I think your ranking of C is fair for it's age, but I can listen to it all day long with no fatigue or pain. Amazing headphone. The real AKG.

Also, I upgraded the ear pads on my HE-500... I wish you could hear it.
Finally it doesn't look stupid with the old ear pds, and is more comfortable and better sound than Hifiman velour pads.
I am borrowing an original 4-screw HE-6 (with Focus pads) from another head-fier, and I prefer my HE-500. But the HE-6 clearly has better treble.

Also I could hear a Sony MDR-V5 - it's actually VERY average. Nothing special about it.
I was quite disappointed.

(the original pads were dead, and the new pads are too deep, so the graph is bassier/boomier than it should be originally)   
 
  
 I've heard stuff like K812, K701, K612 Pro, and A LOT of vintage AKG (sadly, not K1000 yet), and the K501 is the best one so far, as an overall complete product.
ALTHOUGH - K612 Pro is an amazing studio monitor. Horrible for music, but amazingly linear. 2nd best
