Pollen - Pulsar (1975, France, Progressive) 길이 13분

굳지님이 그룹 할로윈을 언급하셔서 떠오른 곡입니다.   
제게는 프랑스 프로그레시브 락 밴드인 Pulsar의 Halloween 앨범이 더 먼저라서 Pulsar가 떠오르더라고요.^ 
 
프랑스 프로그레이스 락 밴드는 Pulsar 보다는 Ange, Atoll, Magma, Sandrose, Shyrock 등이 더 알려져 있습니다만. Pulsar의 Pollen은 한 번 들으면 그 느낌이 기억에 남을 정도로 특이한 인상을 줬던 곡입니다. 
 
장르는 스페이스락으로도 분류 되는데, 이 앨범이 발표될 70년대 초반 스페이스락이 유행했기 때문입니다. 특징은 약간 loose 하면서 길이가 긴 노래 구조가 특징이기 때문이고, 몽환적이면서도 특이한 악기 소리 중심이기도 합니다. 대표적인 밴드로 Hawkwind가 있었고, Pink Floyd도 70년대 초에 발표된 앨범들은 그런 분위기가 있습니다. 
  
이 곡은 유투브에 개별 트랙이 아닌 앨범 전체만 있어서 TIDAL/ Spotify/Apple Music 링크만 올립니다.  (13분 길이)

멋진 곡이네요. 
잘 들었습니다. 
바탕은 사이키델릭한 사운드네요.  
저는 실제로 이런 곡을 청중들 앞에서 연주하고, 이런 곡을 들어 줄 청중들이 있었다는게 놀랍더라구요. 
진짜로 약에 취하지 않고는 듣고 있기 어렵지 않았을까 싶은... ㅎㅎ

기타 연주가 사이키델릭 하기는 하죠. 70년대 초반까지는 사이키델릭이 유행하던 시기이고, 음악적으로 프로그레시브락 발전에 영향을 줬다고 들었습니다. 그러고보니 사이키델릭 음악도 터치하고 지나가야겠네요.
